The IHC (Immunohistochemistry) test for Epithelial Membrane Antigen (EMA) is a laboratory technique used to detect the presence of EMA protein in tissue samples using specific antibodies. EMA is a cell surface glycoprotein (commonly associated with MUC1) that is expressed in many epithelial cells and tumors.
