Immunofixation Electrophoresis (IFE) – Serum is a specialized laboratory blood test used to detect and identify abnormal proteins called immunoglobulins (antibodies) in the blood.

It is mainly used to diagnose and monitor conditions where abnormal or monoclonal antibodies are produced, especially disorders involving plasma cells and immune system proteins.
